If you haven’t been to a Club Fit Yoga Class Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 in the Regions Building in Downtown Little Rock, you are missing out! Yoga engages your core, stretches your muscles, strengthens your balance, and gives you a chance for a little time to yourself. Our resident yogi, Chi, is naturally drawn to the practice as she also practices meditation. “Initially, I was not very consistent in my meditation practice, but after trying yoga, I found it to be a very good fit. Then, after practicing for a few years, I decided to get my certification. I wanted to be able to share the many health benefits of yoga practice with others.”
Chi loves the balance yoga brings to her life and the sense of calm and peace which transcends into her everyday activities. She believes it’s not just about becoming more flexible and stronger in your physical body, but it affects how you live life off the mat.
During the day, Chi works downtown at Anderson, Murphy & Hopkins as a legal assistant, but she has many hobbies other than yoga. She enjoys Tai Chi, Zumba, singing, reading, sewing/creating, swimming and spending time with her family and friends. As Chi plans her retirement, she hopes to have much more time to share her practice with others. We are happy to have Chi as a part of the Club Fit family.
