Meet the Team - Personal Trainer Amy Laser
Meet Amy — Trainer, Wellness Coach & Whole-Person Advocate
Amy is more than a personal trainer — she’s a wellness coach, artist, and lifelong student of the mind–body connection. Her path into fitness is beautifully unconventional. She spent over a decade owning and operating a fitness and personal training studio, followed by several years working in behavioral health and addictions recovery. Today, she brings those worlds together through movement, strength training, and whole-person wellness.
She returned to personal training because she believes, deeply, that movement is one of the most powerful tools we have for healing, confidence, and resilience. Her work isn’t about perfection — it’s about helping people build sustainable habits that actually fit real life.
“True strength comes from honoring where you are, staying present in the work, and moving forward with intention.”
Why Amy Trains
Amy’s favorite part of training is watching confidence grow. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing someone realize they’re capable of more than they thought — whether that means lifting heavier, moving without pain, reaching a weight-loss goal, improving mobility, or simply learning to trust their body again.
Her approach is rooted in integrity, presence, and service. She meets people where they are and creates a relaxed, supportive environment where clients feel safe showing up exactly as they are — and growing from there.
What Clients Experience
Training with Amy goes far beyond counting reps. She focuses on building real relationships based on trust, communication, and consistency. Clients often describe her style as calm, direct, encouraging, and deeply supportive. The goal isn’t just physical change — it’s helping people feel stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically.
One of Amy’s proudest achievements is building multiple businesses from the ground up — including her fitness studio and a long-standing art practice — all while staying grounded in her core values of integrity, vitality, approachability, creativity, and outside-the-box thinking.
Life Outside the Gym
Outside of training, Amy is an accomplished artist with over 20 years of experience showing and selling her work. She loves painting, printmaking, spending time in her studio, watching great movies, visiting the Arkansas Art Center, traveling, and exploring creative projects.
Around Little Rock, you’ll often find her walking the River Trail, visiting local galleries, grabbing coffee downtown, or soaking up nature at Pinnacle Mountain and Two Rivers Park.
Family and friends are at the center of her life. She values presence, connection, and shared experiences — whether that’s cooking together, taking long walks, or simply slowing down and enjoying the moment.
What Drives Her
Amy is inspired most by people who live with integrity, curiosity, and courage — especially those who continue to grow through change. Growing up, her dream job always involved helping people and creating something meaningful, and today she gets to do both every single day.
She’s motivated by the desire to live aligned with her values — service, vitality, presence, creativity, and connection — and to help others do the same. Social causes close to her heart include mental health awareness, access to wellness resources, and supporting people through major life transitions.
When it comes to nourishment, Amy loves anything fresh and thoughtfully prepared. She enjoys cooking, especially Thai and Indian food, farm-to-table meals, and experimenting with seasonal ingredients through juicing.
If she could travel anywhere in the world, she’d choose places that blend culture, nature, and art — somewhere she could hike in the morning, explore galleries in the afternoon, and enjoy great food in the evening.
